This stamp set is a hostess set from the current Stampin'Up! catalog called "God's Beauty". How appropriate for this day, don't you think. No matter what happens along the way to discourage, hurt or drag us down - there is always beauty to behold. Sometimes we just have to look a little harder for it.
I stamped the leaves in Momento Tuxedo black ink onto the debossed side of a scrap piece of embossed cardstock. Both the leaves and flowers were shaded using Koh-I-Noor Woodenless Pencils. I cut out the flowers and after adding the smallest of amethyst gem stones to the center of the flowers I popped them into place using dimensionals. The papers are Certainly Celery and Lavendar Lace Cardstock and Certainly Celery Paisley Designer Paper.
I really like this card. It is warm, cheery and brings a smile to my face. I hope you enjoyed it too.

Jill,
this card is beautiful in it's simplicty! What would we do with out dimensionals to make the flowers pop!
Great reminder to keep a focus on simple things in life--what really matters!
Simply Elegant...Love your design and wonderful job on the coloring. Those flowers look real! And your right we should stop and smell the flowers even if they are virtual. Thanks for sharing your lovely card.
