SNEAK PEEK: MATCHBOX

Here's the next sneak-peek at the offerings in SU!'s Occasion Mini available beginning April 1st! The Matchbox Die! The actual size is right in between the small and large boxes containing wooden matches and is perfect to hold small gifts items (e.g. jewelry!!!!). The die cuts the box inside, outside and 3 label shapes for the top on one extended length die. This is one of the Bigz Dies so it is too wide to fit the Cuttlebug - but works beautifully with the BigShot.

I used SU! Bayou Blue cardstock (retired) to cut the inside box and SU!Bella Bleu Designer Paper to cut the outer wrap. I crocheted the double-petal flower, inserted a vintage button through the center then used white, allpurpose glue to adhere the flower to the box top. The ribbon is an exact match to the lighter blue in the DP though in the photo it appears gray. Not counting the time it took to crochet the flower, this little gem went together in under 10 minutes!

That's all for today. Short and sweet.

Have a great Monday!

Jill
